Firing an AR-15 is supposed to be fun. How can you not enjoy popping off dozens of bullets at targets in a single minute? You might not know this, but customizing your AR-15 can be fun too. For example, you could always get a more traditional and cool-looking p-mag. However, you can also store your bullets in a custom p-mag with a funny design. Here is a list of the 10 funniest AR-15 custom p-mags, for anyone who likes both rifles and humor.
Fun with Coloring
Finger-Lickin’ Good
Your friends are bound to bust into laughter when you pull your magazine out of your rifle and the smiling face of Colonel Sanders greets them. This p-mag features a design based on the ads and boxes you see for KFC. Your friends might even start calling you the KFC guy if you bring this magazine to the range. Be careful, though, or they might start expecting you to bring chicken for everyone!
Treadn’t
We all love the “Don’t Tread on Me,” flag from revolution times. It showed that Americans would never again let themselves be controlled by another country or ruled by a crazy, oppressive leader. However, if you want to be funny, you don’t want a magazine with a snake, but you want one with a “snek.” This silly, simplified design is a parody of “Don’t Tread on Me.” If you get one for your AR, all your friends will surely chortle and respect your knowledge of dank memes.
I Said Hey, What’s Goin’ On?
“And so I cry sometimes when I’m lyin’ in bed …” So begins the pre-chorus of “What’s Up?” by 4 Non Blondes, the ‘90s ballad of feminist revolution. The song gained new life in the internet age thanks to a goofy, and totally fabulous, animated internet video of He-Man and friends singing a dance version. This magazine features the face of Prince Adam, as he belts out, “HEYEAYEAYEYA!” This one is for those who “try all the time” to show everyone that they are both a memelord and a funny person. Say it with me: “AND HE PRAYS!”
Welcome to the Shoppe
Vaporwave, the hippest and memey-est music genre of the 2010s, is about more than just the music. It’s also all about the aesthetic — or should I say, “a e s t h e t i c”? — which is a meme in itself. This magazine has one of the funniest designs because it perfectly captures the clichés of vaporwave album covers. Your internet-savvy friends will take one look at it and say “Oh yeah that’s vaporwave alright.” It’s also just a weird thing to have on a rifle — they’ll never expect it!
Don’t Let People Forget It
Did you know that this AR-15 magazine can hold 30 rounds and Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in a high-security prison? That last bit is at least how the conspiracy theory, referring to the sex offender’s alleged suicide right before he could testify on the famous and powerful people who solicited his child sex trafficking services. “Epstein didn’t kill himself” has become a rare political joke that is popular on both sides of the spectrum! Like many of the hilarious memes made from this news event, the “Warning” magazine’s design tricks people into looking at it before hitting them with an unexpected reference.
Merry Christmas!
Before we shared memes on Facebook, we made references to famous comedies. The “Shitter’s Full” design is a quote from the great ‘80s laugh-fest National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It comes from the scene where Cousin Eddie, beer can in hand, empties his RV home’s septic tank into a suburban sewer grate. You can make yourself and your friends giggle by making them remember a joke from a beloved Christmas comedy classic. Like Cousin Eddie might say, “That’s the gift that keeps giving the whole year!
It’s a White Claw Summer
Speaking of memes, have you tried White Claw Hard Seltzer? It’s an alcoholic seltzer whose fruity taste and soda-like presentation tricks your body into getting wasted. The potent combination is so infamous that it inspired a meme: “Ain’t no laws when you’re drinking Claws.” This AR-15 magazine, “Claws,” bears that phrase, which is bound to inspire laughter and maybe a bit of harmless recklessness.
What’s His Power Level?
Goku is the main character of the Dragonball franchise, known for his incredible superpowers like the Kamehameha and the Spirit Bomb. He’s an anime icon and a hero to many millennials, which makes it so funny to see him on the “Gatku” p-mag. Your shooting range buddies might ask: why would he use a ginormous rifle, as depicted on this magazine, when already he has all those amazing powers? If they do, just tell them it’s part of the joke and makes the p-mag even funnier.
You Threw Off My Groove!
The “No Touchy” p-mag is another parody of the “Don’t Tread in Me” flag. Instead of a poorly drawn snek, it features a totally different cartoon: Kuzco, from The Emperor’s New Groove! Remember that Disney movie, about a narcissistic brat who hates the poor and turns into a llama? Remember the two or three times when he tells someone, “No touchy!”? Remember how funny that was? When you show this to other fans, they might remember and applaud you for the reference.
